The 2023 WeThePeople Nova is WeThePeople’s lowest quality and lowest priced BMX bike in their 20-inch lineup. This bike comes in a ton of different colors and it scores a 3.85 in park, making it best for park-specific riding. If you ask me though, I will say I think it’s slightly overpriced. That doesn’t make it a bad bike. There’s some people that this bike is perfect for, and I’ll talk about that at the end of the video. But there’s a lot of things you need to know about it so let’s get right into the video.

Is the WeThePeople Nova high quality?

No, the WeThePeople Nova is not high quality because it’s built from full high tensile steel, which is a weaker alternative to chromoly. The bearings are not fully sealed, and the rims on this bike are single wall.

Basically, the quality of this bike is fine for small and lightweight beginner rider. If you’re taller and heavier or more experienced, the quality this bike is way too low to withstand your level of riding and your weight. Again, it’s not a terrible bike, but the quality is only good for small new riders.

This bike is best for someone who weighs under 130 pounds. A taller and heavier rider can expect this bike to break a lot sooner than it would if it was ridden by someone who weighs 130 pounds or less. Some other options with similar quality would be the Kink Launch, the Sunday Primer, the Fiend Type O Minus, and the Hoffman Seeker.

How does the We The People Nova look?

The We The People Nova looks great; however, the quality isn’t designed for a seasoned BMX rider but for a kid who’s brand new to the sport. This bike fits them well.

Is the WeThePeopleNova overpriced?

Yes, the WeThePeople Nova is overpriced because of its low quality and relatively high price tag compared to similar bikes.

Similar priced bikes with better quality would be the Kink Gap and the Cult Gateway. The big thing here that makes us an overpriced BMX bike is the fact that for the same price, you can buy bikes with much higher quality. The Nova has a little bit of special attention to detail, but it’s full high tensile steel, which is way weaker than chromoly. Taking the $500 and spending it on something like the Kink Gap would give you a bike with a trimoly frame which will outlast the hi-tensile steel frame on the Nova.

What are the best features of WeThePeople Nova?

There aren’t a whole lot of really good features on the weed people nova. It’s a full high tensile steel frame that is best for riding skate parks. A few things that stood out to me is a relatively low weight, which is 26.2 pounds. It comes in two different top tube sizes, meaning it’ll be OK for more riders, and it has a ton of different color options, which will allow people to choose a color that really speaks to them.

Honest Thoughts

The WeThePeople Nova is a very cool bike for a kid to get on and cruise around, but if you’re buying this bike with dreams of becoming a really good BMX rider and you want to progress with it, it’s just overpriced.
