Sunday Primer Park

$489.99
The Sunday Primer Park is a low quality BMX bike that weighs 25.8 pounds and costs $450. This bike is specifically designed for park riding with features like a compact frame and gyro, aiming to provide a snappy and responsive ride. In this post, we’ll dive into whether it’s the right fit for you.
No, the Sunday primer park is not a high-quality BMX bike. It’s a low quality park specific BMX bike and it only has high tensile steel with single wall rims.
High tensile steel is about four times weaker than 4130 chromoly and single wall rims. Single wall rims are well, half the strength of double wall rims. If you’re looking for a strong BMX bike, the Sunday primer park is not it. But if you’re a new rider who likes to spend time at the skate park, his might be the right option for you.
It’s designed for beginners who are just getting into park riding, but its components are not made to withstand mid to high-level tricks. This mismatch between its design intent and actual durability is a big downside.
The Sunday Primer Park looks cool with its gyro and compact frame. The geometry is really snappy and responsive, making it feel good in bowls, but it’s not built for going very high or fast.
I have to say, the style is pretty sick. It’s got that park-specific look that many newcomers might find attractive. But, remember, looks aren’t everything, especially if the quality doesn’t match up.
Yes, I think the Sunday primer park is overpriced. It’s just such a high price tag for this low of quality.
However, I want to add a caveat here, if you’re looking for a park specific bike, this is the most affordable park specific option. You won’t find a decent quality park specific bike until the wethepeople versus which is over $700.
You would be much better off spending an extra $50 and buying something like the kink whip or spending the same amount of money and buying a kink gap. Even though they aren’t park specific the qualities much better and the bike will last longer.

The best features include its park-specific design with responsive geometry, gyro for spins, and a compact frame for agility in the park.
What makes it stand out is its focus on park riding for beginners. However, it’s important to note that while it’s designed for tricks, its durability is questionable.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Geometry | Compact and responsive, designed for park tricks |
Gyro | Allows for barspins and tailwhips without cable tangling |
Frame | High tensile steel, durable but not for high-level tricks |
I’m not a huge fan of the Sunday Primer Park. While it looks cool and is aimed at beginners, the low quality and high price make it hard to recommend. It’s a mismatch for riders aiming to progress to mid or high-level park tricks.
You know on this page we are all about value and in my opinion the Sunday primer park is just a low value bike. The quality is low. The price is high. This is just a bad combination. Again, I will recommend it for low tier riders, who are looking for a park specific bike, because there are no better options. But damn the Fit PRK is pretty close in price and even better in quality. And Fit is usually a rip off.
