How to Review Products on BMXNerds.com
Are you interested in sharing your experience or thoughts with a product? Now you can and you can be entered to win some money while you’re at it. Each month we select a random rider who left a review and send them $20. It could be you!
Find the Product to review!
Simply use the search bar to find the product that you would like to review. I’m adding new products every day so if you do not see your product check back later or add it yourself by clicking “add new post” in your user profile.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to get to the spot where you leave a review.
Log in or Sign up
Only registered users can leave a product review. But do not worry. It’s easy and free to get signed up. If you already have an account skip to step 4.
Create a new account
If you click the “logged in” hyper link you’ll see a spot to log in, you’ll want to click below it where it says “sign up”.
After that, you’ll want to enter your user name, email address, and password. Make sure you enter the correct email since you will need to get your verification key from it. And it’s how I will contact you if you got the $20.
A verification email will be sent to your email address. Open it and click the link.
The verification email will look something like this. (Websites are full of spam and bots and this is the only way to keep it clean.)
When you click the link it will automatically redirect you to the website with the activation key inserted. If not, enter they key yourself from your email.
Congrats! Your account is now verified.
Click the “login” button and enter the username and password that you created.
Leaving your review
The review is set up to mirror the style of the main review. You will be able to score the bike according to the same attributes as the main review. List your owns pros and cons of the product as shown in the picture and type out your thoughts.
After you leave your review, you can go back and edit it, or go review a new product.
How to Ask a BMX Question?
If you have a bmx question and you need to ask it, you can do so here. Other bmx riders will be able to see your question and weigh in to provide you with the answer.
Click your profile picture
Click your profile picture to reveal the drop down menu. Here you will be able to ask a bmx question, and view your currently asked questions.
Explain your question
Describe your question in detail. the more information you provide the better answer you can recieve.
Wait for an answer
You will receive an email when someone answers your question. Users earn ‘pegs’ for answering questions and posting reviews.
