BMX News, Drama, Deals and More!

Hey Nerds!

A lot has happened since my last BMX email so I wanted to send a little update and check in on you. How is your journey going? Have you bought a bike yet?

📤 BMX News & Drama

There has been a ton of sponsor changes and BMX drama the last few weeks of 2024. I talked about it in this video here 👇.

The best thing to do with this bmx drama is to keep your head down and keep riding. It really doesn’t affect us and bmx has always been filled with so much drama.

Kris Fox off SE Bikes, Casey off of Premium and Sean Ricany sawing his bike in half after being kicked off Cult… It’s been wild.

🚨 Hot Deals + Upgrades

Our friends at Dan’s has some really good sale prices going on right now. Click here to see what’s on sale. I think this Colony Build kit is the best deal for anyone who is looking to upgrade their bike.

🥶 Stay Motivated in the Cold

I know a lot of you are freezxing and it might not be the best time to go ride… so here are a few things you can do to stay warm and motivated.

  • Build a manual trainer: This is a thing you can use to make your manuals better, it’s cheap and fairly easy to build. Nic shows you how to do it in video here.
  • BMX Video Games: There are a handful out there. I like to play Pipe, or if im feeling nostalgic, ill play Mat Hoffman Pro BMX 2.
  • Work Out: The gym gets you fit and will 100% make it easier to do tricks. I’ve noticed a huge correlation to my fitness level and my riding level.

✅ BMX Pants and Gear

I’ve been riding in my Jwalker pants for the last few months, and it has been a game changer. I used to wear Hollister Skinny Jeans but now i’ll never go back. The Jwalker pants looks like pants but are WAY more comfortable.

I began riding BMX at the age of 13 and it quickly evolved from a hobby to a life-long passion. The freedom and thrill of each ride, coupled with the chance to connect with diverse people at different skateparks worldwide, turned the sport into more than just a pastime. Now, with over 14 years of BMX experience and 5 years as a coach, I'm dedicated to sharing my insights and helping others in their BMX journey through this platform. It's not just about the ride, it's about the BMX lifestyle.
