😭 Dan’s Comp is pretty much GIVING STUFF AWAY for Black Friday

What’s up Nerds?

It’s been a stressful week of progressing and riding. I see you all doing the same. Seeing some of the posts in the community got me fired up to ride.

Let’s go over what’s happened this week.

📰 BMX News

There hasn’t been a whole lot going on in the BMX world, except Source is stacking up their pro team. Recently they added Perris Benegas to the Pro team. I just looked at their pro team and it’s pretty stacked. Dakota Roche, Nathan Williams, Lewis Mills, Dan Lacey and Trey Jones are also on the team and I think Source has added a handful of riders this week alone.

It’s interesting to think about the future of BMX riding and sponsorships. In my opinion if you’re not partnering with a huge company, it’s not typically going to be worth it. There’s a reason some of the biggest riders are with the brands whose reach extend outside of BMX.

But what does this mean for the future of BMX if big riders stop partnering with smaller “core” bmx brands? Hmm.

👨🏻‍🏫 A+ Nerds

I want to shout out some awesome members in the community. These guys keep the bmx sickness spreading and they get my hyped to ride bmx.

Fruzz is a new member in our community who has only been riding for a few weeks. From what i’ve seen, the progression will be crazy.
Sap has been in the community for a month and is a very active member, even if hes making bad decisions and using loctite on his hubs.

🎥 Don’t Miss This

I decided to mix it up a bit, and let fate decide which tricks i was going to do for the week. The happened by throwing darts at folded up sticky notes and having to do whatever I hit. (I suck at darts)

In this video my main goal was a 360 barspin to tuck. It took over 20 tries but I finally got it. Let me know if it was clean enough to count…

🔥 Fire Deals

Dan’s Comp is getting a head start on Black Friday and is SLASHING prices on a ton of BMX goodies. Here’s a pro tip: spend all of your money right now on BMX parts so that you’re all out of money on real black friday and don’t need to worry about wasting it on dumb stuff.

The Results are IN! 📊

Did you vote? I asked my community “How do you get hyped to go ride?” The results were surprising. For me it’s seeing clips from you guys in the Discord Community. Gets me all fired up.

This weeks question is about progression and dream tricks. “What is the next BMX trick that you want to learn?” Go here to vote and let me know!!

🏆 Bike of the Week

I couldn’t just pick one. Both of these bikes are so clean and the picture quality is a sweet bonus. Shout out Deadly Swan and Treerat. What do you think about these bikes?

Head the the #BMX-Showcase channel to show off your baby. Maybe it’ll be featured in an upcoming video.

👊 Inspiration

Sometimes I want to give up.

Today I was working on a Bar to Tailwhip for the next progression video…

but it wasn’t working. The run up sucked, I was tired, sweaty, and honestly a little scared.

But guess what?

I pushed through and it worked out. It took a lit of filming and correcting, but it worked out and I WAS STOKED.

For me it was about noticing what I was doing wrong and making changes to execute it correctly.

I help my Bike School Members, and Youtube Channel Members overcome trick barriers by watching their attempts and providing feedback and personalized coaching so they can learn the tricks that they are stuck on.

This makes it fast and easy to learn a new trick.

Become a BMX God if you need help with your tricks.

In 5 days I will be going LIVE on my YouTube channel to answer your questions and talk about BMX. On the stream, I’ll teach you how to do beginner BMX tricks and so much more. Get notified when I go live by clicking here!
